CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS (CPS)
We are working with the youth and parents of Chicago Public Schools (CPS) in an effort to provide quality services and programs.

A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
YOUTH GUIDANCE
Working with Youth Guidance (YG) in the areas of Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Health & Wellness, Comprehensive Male-Mentoring, and Effective-Parenting training has allowed to provide a safe environment for learning.

ACCESS TO HIGHER LEARNING
TRIO Program: Chicago State University
Our partnership with the Chicago State TRIO Program has allowed us to assist young adults with the transition to higher learning.

Youth Violence Prevention Summit 2023
Workshop:
Teens Talk Trauma: It's Real and How to Recover

A workshop designed to equip teens with the knowledge and resources they need to understand and cope with trauma. Through interactive activities, group discussions, and personal reflection, participants looked at the impact of trauma on their lives and gained practical strategies for self-care and resilience.

EMPOWERING COMMUNITY
Youth District Advisory Council
In a collaborative partnership with the Chicago Police Department and the Youth District Advisory Council Summer Leadership Institute (2022 - 2023) MHAI aimed to create safe environments for healthy discussions between youth and law enforcement, while promoting an understanding of history, law, and science to teach leadership skills among youth. Our goal is to advocate for social change that challenges civil unrest and negative images placed on youth through social media and news outlets.

A GREEN APPROACH
Green Oasis
Working with Green Oasis Roseland Community Development Corporation (RCDC), we contributed to creating peace gardens, beautification projects, and the introduction to the science of agriculture for the residents of the Greater Far South Side Communities.
